  Swamp Hacks Competitor

  SwampHacks is a hackathon that is hosted by the students of the University of Florida. With a participation count of over 650 students nationwide, SwampHacks is one of the biggest events hosted at UF. During SwampHacks, paticipants are required to build any programming project they would like within 36 hours. The whole weekend is filled with learning, coding, and creativity. No prior experience is necessary and anyone with the desire to build and learn is welcomed. Companies including Google, American Express, Infotech, RealTruck, Carnival, InfiniteEnergy, Facebook, Lyft, P&G, Linode, fracture, Ultimate Software, ExxonMobile, and many more have all sponsored the event.As a competitor in SwampHacks, I worked in a group to create a functional video game through Unity enabled for two-player online gameplay. SwampHacks not only enhanced my technical skills but also improved my social skills through first-hand experience in working with teams. Show less
