      Whilst studying at Deakin university and living on the Burwood Student accommodation I have obtained a Residential Leader position this year. This is a volunteer position, which places me responsible for the health, safety and wellbeing of all 600 residents on campus. I am responsible for the organisation of events, communication and providing support to students. This entails careful planning, evaluation, management and coordination so all students are a part of an appropriate, comfortable and safe environment. I am required to attend weekly meetings with the Campus Life Coordinator to review the previous weeks events, plan future events and also manage any concerns or conflicts that may have arisen on campus.
