      I got hired at SSLC because of my creativity. Leisure Aquatics wanted to attract new gym patrons in new ways and looked to the artistic. I was attending the Vancouver Academy of Dramatic Arts, where I was recruited, and pitched a few out of the box ideas. This led to two successful years of coming up with very “left field” ideas, including creating a security position that would market services and not cause patrons to be concerned of potential crime, which was, in fact a temporary issue.
