    • STUD WELDING PRODUCTS, INC.

      Feb 2011 - Mar 2014
      Warehouse Supervisor

Shop manager; shipping and receiving; quality control manager; fabrication manager. I was in charge of multiple duties for this company. Welded, drove forklift, ran a crew of eight fabricators, making materials for commercial concrete buildings, as well as steel buildings. I was responsible for products meeting deadlines and proud to say we never missed a deadline. Fixed equipment, drove trucks, and made deliveries. I was also in charge of breaking down blue prints for the crew to fabricate materials, and organized what was priority, and stayed ahead of them to have a smooth operating machine. Fixed the equipment when welders would break down, and taught them how to fix equipment. I taught them every little detail about the work this company does. Was responsible for the Excel number to be updated or new spread sheets to be made for all new jobs. Documentation meant better communication, and a trail of proof. Constantly emailing customers, and or co-workers, or suppliers to make sure communication was also in writing. Show less

Lead Framer. Crew lead. Responsible for five framers building and remodeling homes. I was in charge of delivery schedule, and coordinating with subs. I saw every detail from beginning to end of the job to be completed at my standard. I dealt with the inspectors, and served as the voice of the owner for the company.

      Crew Lead

Installed gas piping to roof top units, water heaters, and furnaces. Ran air duct through crawls and attic spaces to the furnace. Installed heat pumps, AC units, furnaces, water heaters, and bathroom fans, stove hoods, ran fire place venting, and finish materials. Installed stat wire to the thermostat, and have a little experience charging the heat pumps and AC units. Wired the electric panels for the units. Since I started here the boss no longer comes to our jobs and lets me run the show, and has given one man to teach! I can do it all, and can learn quick when given the reigns. Show less

    • Craftwood Construction, Inc.

      Aug 2015 - now
      Crew Lead

Remodeling, additions, new houses, and other miscellaneous jobs. I framed on all jobs from start to finish, including laying out the walls and beams, windows, trusses and any other materials that you could think of in or on the house. We did all interior and exterior new work. Responsible for getting supplies from suppliers and keeping track of materials used to keep waste down, meaning cost would stay down. I taught the other guys things, to get the house done to the prints standards, and was responsible for getting it right through the inspection without any help from the boss. In direct contact with inspector’s, architect, engineer, and any other parties. Essentially I was the Project Coordinator / Manager. Job sheets were done with Excel, and I color coordinate all and I am in charge of getting it right down to the T. When it was all said and done the boss or anyone could look at it and know what, when, and where things were. That or what was used and ordered. Show less
