      The main purpose of this role was to assist in the reformation of the Department of Health and Social Care, working with the Senior Management Team within either the Health or Social Care Divisions to influence business change priorities and identify and deliver HR activities and interventions as required. During my time with this team, I led the team though periods of significant change, including initiating changes to our structure and working practices and which included a reduction in staffing levels. A key part of my role was the sourcing and implementation of an e-recruitment system. The primary driver for this was to modernise, streamline and automate the recruitment process. The project encompassed all aspects of project management and was delivered within very tight timescales and on budget. An overview of my duties include: • Negotiation with the product suppliers as well as OHR personnel and various Senior Management Teams across the organisation • Engaging with stakeholders to ensure buy-in to recruitment • Design of a training programme that balanced OHR’s resource availability with the anticipated training demands • Harmonisation and standardisation of the Statement of Written Particulars ensuring legal and best practice were met • Management, development and restructure of the employment administration teams• Providing advice and support to Managers within Departments on a range of employment matters but predominantly recruitment and contractual queries • Building strong working relationships across the Public Service• Develop and maintain effective working relationships to facilitate working in partnership with other support service areas, including Finance, Payroll and Government Technology Services Show less
