  As a TEFL certified English teacher, I was the lead teacher for the 5th and 6th grade classes at a top private school in Bangkok. I planned course curriculum, instructed several classes each day of up to 40 students- developing innovative teaching strategies that led to a rise in grades and significant improvement in students English language skills. I also assisted in coordinating book fairs, summer camp and philanthropic field trips.   Working in a voluntary capacity- processed and organized the daily donations brought in for the nonprofit. Using the processed donations, I helped maintain and create a certain style and layout for the Soho location. I also operated in Housing Works major annual fundraising events- "Design on a Dime", and "Fashion for Action." Cultivating the passion of people working in the arts, fashion, and entertainment industries- these annual events foster a community of giving while also raising awareness and support for the fight against HIV/AIDS.   Received barista training through Stumptown where I was instructed in the proper methods for espresso extraction, milk steaming, and latte art design. Skills which I put to use in their high volume midtown coffee shop across the street from Grand Central Station- serving hundreds of customers a day. Also maintained company twitter account.

  Working in store locations throughout Manhattan- providing exemplary customer service in terms of support and product knowledge (processing, variety, brewing method, and other pertinent information). Additionally taught coffee related classes to large groups and individuals, both publicly and assisting in in-company courses. These courses range from brew methods, workshops, coffee history, and cupping classes.
