I was fortunate to have ample experience working within a range of diverse public schools within the area - focusing on elementary special education, US Government, and American History. Marietta College provided me with a diverse education and unwavering love for liberal arts education. From sparking a lifelong passion for South Asian Art, social activism and engagement in rural Appalachia, and my first exposure to GIS, Marietta College helped foster my love for learning and the importance of critical thinking.   After instructing students for AP Human Geography for three years, I decided to continue my education with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) after sparking an immediate passion as an undergrad. Initially, I incorporated this work into my course, introducing students to ArcGIS Online, and using geographic data to support key themes of the course.
