  I first worked on reducing load time of a web page on Amazon Seller Central web app. I identified a potential function that was making extra service calls and optimized it by cutting down some of the calls which improved the load time of the web page thus preventing time out. Also wrote unit tests for the code changes.Another integral aspect of my internship involved contributing to the development of a new GET API within Amazon's internal service, the Work Execution Service. My responsibilities included the end-to-end process, starting from the design of the request and response models. This phase allowed me to grasp the nuances of Amazon's internal design patterns for API development.
