  In 2000, Elijah Gold- a typical handyman- bought a second home which was rented to some tenants that causes significant damage. Around the same time that the tenants were evicted, Elijah also became unemployed due to downsizing. He created a new full time job of repairing and renovating the deteriorated second house by hiring an experienced contractor to help and mentor throughout the project. The property was completely gutted and rebuilt, from basement to roof. When it was completed, Elijah and his family moved into the completely remodeled second home and then he proceeded to gut down and remodel the first home on his own. Throughout the first years of hands-on training (is there any other kind that matters?) Elijah acquired all of the required tools. He met and collaborated with many of the best local contractors including handymen, electricians, plumbers, and other tradesmen. When Surdus Remodeling LLC was founded in 2004, Elijah had already hand picked the best tradesmen to collaborate with and include in any kitchen or bath remodeling project. Nearly a decade later, Elijah continues to thrive on the reward of surpassing every customers’ expectations.
