As a T-34C fixed-wing Instructor Pilot, flew training planes to instruct student officers in the operation of naval aircraft. Prepared daily flight schedules and performed operational activities concerned with flight, flight training, flight safety, ground training, navigation, line operations, communications, transportation, logs and records. Coordinated aircraft flight readiness with the Squadron Maintenance Officer. As Officer-in-Charge, led a 30-person, 2-aircraft detachment during nine underway periods aboard logistics ships, deployed all across the western Pacific Ocean. Show less
