  Coach Junior

  I'm a coach junior for students under 18 years old on the Spark program of BIAT Foundation for Youth. Until now I have participated as a coach junior on the practical workshops of Spark Days (a bootcamp of two days) . I was at the Media worshop where 5 business ideas were born from the students initiatives. The theme was: How could we involve young people in the creation and dissemination of content through the media?I was surprised how much fast they learned the basic entrepreneurship skills, and managed to develop their project ideas in the right way. They just needed a little push from the coaches and the assistance of our Media Specialist M. Farouk Rezgui. I'm also coaching with the team of Spark ENIS 30 Sparkers so that they can develop a project idea according to the theme who always focuses on youth. Show less

Plant Sci. 13:789701.doi: 10.3389/fpls.2022.789701Abstract : The Tunisian climate is characterized by episodes of water deficit that could occur at the beginning, the middle and at the end of the agricultural season, consequently the agricultural production fluctuates according to the years. To this problem is also added soil salinization, which is becoming more and more important because of the extension of irrigated crops. Tunisian cereal farming is very affected by these two main abiotic constraints. The understanding, the decortication of mechanisms of abiotic stress tolerance, the identification of candidate genes and the study of their expression profile, represent the pillars of the majority of agricultural research programs aimed at improving plant tolerance to abiotic stresses. The ASRs gene family "ABA, Stress, Ripening" is involved in the response to abiotic stress among the majority of plants. The first part of this work has been dedicated to the identification and the in silico study of the TaASR family in common wheat. The second part was devoted to the study of the expression profile of three members of the ASR family in two Tunisian varieties of common wheat and durum wheat after salt and water deficit stress at the leaf and root levels. These results prompted us to isolate and sequence the studied ASR genes. Show less

  Since November 2019, I have been an Intern in the Immunology Service to learn the technics of cellular culture especially of Keratinocyte Cells. This is the first that it's being tested in Tunisia! It We are yet testing conditions and parameters for Keratinocyte cell culture. In the meantime I am developing my technical skills by learning an emerging technic that will potentially reduce animal testing. It was an honor to be part of this.
