  I recently completed a 46-hour intensive internship program focused on microbial enumeration and detection. This hands-on experience provided me with valuable insight into fundamental microbiological techniques such as spread plating, pour plating, and streaking, all of which are crucial for isolating and quantifying microorganisms. Through this internship, I developed strong technical skills, including precision in laboratory practices, accuracy in measuring microbial growth, and a deeper understanding of the science behind microbial analysis.Additionally, this opportunity helped me enhance my critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, as I worked on real-world microbiological challenges. The program also reinforced my attention to detail, taught me the importance of maintaining sterile conditions, and gave me a solid foundation in microbiological lab work, which will be essential as I continue my academic and professional journey in the field of biosciences.
