  One of the UK’s first management Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (mKTP) with the University of the West of Scotland and Innovate UK, providing embedded, data-driven solutions to aid strategic decision making for future growth and company stability. Gordon’s hands-on, pragmatic approach to business transformation has been instrumental in shaping IPIG’s short- term goals and longer-term future vision, with his academic credentials proving invaluable for driving innovation, efficiency, sales and financial savings. As part of the company management team, Gordon has overhauled IPIG’s digital footprint including rebranding, installing social channels, building a new website, CRM design, implementation and management, alongside an entire O365 cloud migration solution, whilst providing reports to document future trajectory. Project activities include being the contact for, and management of, third-party suppliers, alongside tripartite stakeholder and relationship management between IPIG Ltd., the University of the West of Scotland and Innovate UK. Such transformational change initiatives have been successful by instilling a positive workplace culture and involving all team members throughout the journey, ensuring complex solutions are understood to promote their adoption. Together with managing the above institutional stakeholders, this adds to the multi-layered nature of stakeholder management for this project, include c-suite. Without careful consideration and coordination, the initiatives would have been unsuccessful. Alongside major grant funding successes, Gordon has been required to manage budgets and been further exposed to additional business functions and responsibilities, including but not limited to finance, procurement, IT, HR, design, compliance and construction, heightening commercial awareness.
