      Responsibilities:1. Champion the promotion of the purple brand in universities towards ending gender equality, increased women participation in leadership, and boosting the appetite of young people for self-confidence and healthy masculinity. Key Achievements:1. Produced the first female Student Union Government President at College of Education, Eha-Amufu. Also produced first female aspirant for the post of the SUG President in Enugu State University. The Project got more young girls involved in the leadership and decision making process in their various institutions. 2. Achieved effective brand promotion and awareness publicity of the V4C goals and messages. This was possible through active media engagement on Virtual Space and Radio presentations of the Purple Tinz radio program including road shows, workshops and social activities. 3. Designed and implemented a one-day Brand Ambassador Activity in Umuogbo-Agu Community, Enugu Ezike on Educating the Girl Child as a way to boost community development.4. Launched the Purple Club in the Post-Secondary Schools where the project was implemented. The Club members were exclusively those who have participated and graduated from the Safe Space Trainings. 5.       Foot-Soldier and Community Champion Against Human Trafficking and Child Labour

      1. I Worked with National Agency for The Prohibition of Trafficking in Person (NAPTIP), Makurdi Zonal Command during my National Youth Service Scheme (NYSC), as a Volunteer Foot soldiers and Community Champions. During this time, as President of Charity Services and Gender Vanguard Community Development Service Group, I designed and implemented various activities on gender, human trafficking, and child labour. 2. I carried out targeted intervention activities to support victims of forced migration in Benue state especially those in the Internally Displaced Persons Camp. Some of the interventions carried out for the IDPs include: Mobilizing resources through the community development service groups, and provision of relief materials to IDPs; Sensitization and Awareness programs on issues that affect the IDPs, especially on protecting themselves from becoming victims of human trafficking and child abuse/labour etc.; Referral and Linkage services of human trafficking to NAPTIPP. The experiences, interactions and empathy, working for the IDPs culminated into what later became my motivation to pursue a Masters degree in Migration studies afterwards. 3. I also carried out sensitization programs in schools and colleges, including Benue state University, on irregular migration and human trafficking. Through this activity we reached 2,229 secondary school students in Makurdi with the knowledge, awareness and information to protect themselves from being victims of human trafficking. 4. We also carried out migration-related intervention programs at the Correctional Service centers and Orphanage Homes across three local governments in Benue states. 5. I facilitated referral and linkage services of victims of human trafficking to NAPTIP. Show less

During my service year, I was Posted to Emmanuel Foundation Academy, Makurdi where I taught Junior Secondary School Students Mathematics for 1 year. I also served as the President, Charity Services and Gender Vanguard Community Development Group of the NYSC. As a CDS president, I champion programs on charity services like visit to orphanage homes, provision of relief materials and sensitization of Internally displaced persons in their camps, visit to prisons etc..As part of achievements during my service year, I received from the NYSC Benue State Coordinator "A Letter of Commendation" for exemplary integrity and honest during the 2018 Batch A Orientation exercise.       I was trained by SOAR on Child Sexual Abuse and served as a Volunteer Youth Advocate on Child Sexual Abuse.Responsibilities:1. Serve as Brand Ambassador for the Youth Advocate Project against Child Sexual Abuse.2. Create awareness, amplify sensitization and advocate against Child Sexual Abuse in the society.3. Provide care and support for victims and survivors of Child Sexual Abuse. 4. Build capacity of stakeholders especially children to prevent and respond adequately to Child Sexual Abuse.5. Write and submit reports of the Youth Advocates activities to SOAR. Key Achievements:1. Together with my colleagues Youth Advocates, we sensitized 2,229 people in Makurdi and 10,966 people in Benue state on Child Sexual Abuse, and Sexual and Gender Based Violence, SGBV. Our sensitization cut across Schools, Markets, communities and religious gatherings.2. Trained teachers and school owners on Child Sexual Abuse and how to provide support for survivors. 3. Mentored and counseled young teenagers and survivors of Child Sexual Abuse.3. Carried out monthly routine data verification, validation, collection and reporting of program activities. Show less

Developed a standard data gathering tool for Monitoring and Evaluation suitable for report writing and analysis of the project. Conducted interview sessions and focus group discussion with beneficiaries during program implementation or research activity. I was also involved in data gathering and collection from the field, transcribe audio recordings of the Key Informant Interview sessions into a report document and keyed it into the database for documentation and subsequent analysis. 2. Successfully participated in the consultancy services of implementing the National Policing Program (NPP) project of setting up and mentoring The Excellence and Talent Clubs in 10 secondary schools of Enugu State. The Club was established in Post-Primary Schools to Boost Excellence and Ultimately Shun Cultism in Schools and Colleges. 3. Together with the Teen Africa Research Team Members, we implemented the Peter Mbah Foundation Consultancy Program of conducting Community Needs Assessment Project for selected communities in Isiuzo, Nkanu East and Nkanu West LGAs of Enugu state.4. Designed and successfully hosted a program in partnership with Enugu State Universal Basic Education Board and Baywood Foundation to celebrate the International Youth Day on the 12th of August, 2019. Sub Theme: “The role of Private Sector in Transforming Education Beyond Rhetorics”.5. Developed and developed Teen Africa Intervention Programs on Menstrual Hygiene for teenagers in schools and colleges. The program covered distribution of Sanitary Protection Pads, Awareness and Sensitization programs in schools, and the event commemoration of the Menstrual Hygiene Day, 2019. Show less

      I was responsible for the implementation of the Youth ICT and Skills Acquisition Project (YISAPenugu) which was funded by The Coca-Cola Foundation to the tune of 98,925 USD, and also achieved the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), 2020 between the African Union Commission (AUC) and Baywood Foundation (BF) on African Youth Development Initiatives. I led the team to develop Baywood Foundation’s 5-Year Strategic Plan of Action 2021 to 2025 for Repositioning the Baywood Foundation for Greater Heights, Sustainability and Efficiency. I designed and Implemented the Foundations’ COVID19 Intervention Programs as well as successfully implemented the Annual Baywood Foundation Free Medical Outreach Program in Obosi and Akaegbe-Ugwu Communities in Anambra and Enugu States respectively, in 2019. I engaged in proposal writing and project design; develop detailed component strategies and plan for the project implementation, monitoring process and include detailed financial costing for all planned activities. I was involved in the planning of special events and fund-raising activities including organizing training and facilitating workshops for BF Staff, Project Personnel, volunteers, female politicians/aspirants as well as advocacy/Lobbying especially in communities to mainstream relevant issues. On this role, we have been able to achieve CS-SUNN Enugu State membership of the inaugurated State Committee on Food and Nutrition; Development of a domesticated Enugu State Policy on Food and Nutrition; Inclusion of Nutrition Budgets across all Nutrition-Specific and Nutrition-sensitive Ministries, departments and agencies; Development of a costed Enugu State Multi-Sectoral Plan of Action Plan For Food and Nutrition; Successful implementation of CS SUNN activities of the Pooled Fund II Project in Enugu State; Official election and inauguration of State chapter executives; Establishment and strengthening of ties with media partners, Enugu State Primary Healthcare Development Agency; Enugu State Ministry of Health and other relevant institutions. As the Programme manager, I was responsible for managing multiple strategic initiatives, overseeing cross-functional teams, and leading critical projects that significantly impacted the organizations’ growth and the communities we served. I provided leadership in the conceptualization, design and implementation of migration-related activities, projects, and programs, both at the internal organizational level and donor-funded projects.2. I served as EBONA Programme lead during the implementation of the “Combating Youth and Women Irregular Migration (CY-WIM) Project”. The project aimed to reduce the incidence of irregular migration among youth and women in Enugu state. It was funded by European Union through the British Council under the EU-Agents for Citizen Driven Transformation Programme. Through the project, we sensitized over 1200 youth and women (including persons with disabilities) on the effect of irregular migration as well as empowered 150 of the beneficiaries with vocational skills and start-up equipment. The project also strengthened the capacity of selected 30 Civil Society Organizations in Enugu State to respond to cases of irregular migration and also facilitated increased collaboration of CSOs with government agencies in addressing irregular migration.3. I also implemented a couple of projects at organizational levels. Some of which include: “A Step Ahead” Project on awareness creation about irregular migration and attendant risks for post-primary school students in Enugu State. The project focused on awareness creation on irregular migration and Human trafficking. Through the project, we reached many secondary school students to “Catch Them Young” and also established migration clubs in the schools. The project also targeted people with different sexual orientation and gender identity who fall with the vulnerable key populations category. Show less

I provided effective supervision and support to over 40 team members, including Program Officer, M&E Officer, Finance Officer, Case Management Officers, Outreach Workers, Community Facilitators and CART Team.       In order to achieve the National Food and Nutrition Policy objectives and implement its programmes, a State Committee on Food and Nutrition (NCFN) was established, domiciled at Ministry of Budget and Planning and comprising of member representatives from across the Nutrion-sensitive Ministries in the state. The SCFN works to assist in the improvement of nutrition and food security and to plan programmes on food and nutrition matters while playing a coordinating role to the MDAs. I represent the Civil Society Scaling up Nutrition in Nigeria at the Enugu State Government Committee on Food and Nutrition (SCFN), providing technical lead and assistance on the SCFN Programs development while engaging in relevant advocacies, Nutrition Education etc. Show less
