  Responsibilities include:• Lead responsibility in the development and management of the new GSA research repository• Management of the integration of the repository with the new GSA website, ensuring seamless transition. Maintenance of research profiles and research related components on the website – postgraduate and research• Manager of research data at the school. Development of management systems and processes and training of staff. Writing of data management polices.• Open Access manager, checking funder and publisher compliance for the sharing of research outputs, ensuring procedures such as copyright are followed.• Information retrieval – from staff data to postgraduate student data, liaising closely with Registry, Human Resources, IT, Finance and heads of schools• Auditing – understanding the input and processes involved for SFC, RCUK and the research development fund that is managed by the research team• Projects – Understanding of the bids process and the development of a pipeline database to manage this process from project inception to project completion. • Financial Management – liaison with the finance department and work on managing the budgets of research projects to enable tracking of expenditure within a project to enable clear reporting. By using corporate planner and Agresso• Utilisation of bid development systems, e.g. JeS and RCUK, and management and updating of the GSA costing form• Any other systems – development of ad-hoc systems and process that are needed for the sound management and recording of information and data• Identification of research funding opportunities for the enhancement of systems and processes at GSA. Development of requirement specifications for systems• Principal investigator and Project Manager for research projects related to data management on behalf of GSA• Technical manager for the REF submission process• Lead teacher in the field of Methods, methodologies, techniques and research practices on the MRe Show less
