I have conducted interviews, covered the aging beat, pitched and developed story ideas, took photos at events, created slideshows and worked heavily with Wordpress. My experience with Voices of Utah has taught me many lessons. I have learned how to be patient with my writing, letting my brain work at its own pace. I also learned that the world of journalism can be crazy if you don’t stay organized and on top of things. If I were to do a journalism internship I would be very prepared for the fast paced structure that it entails. Show less
