  Amrita SeRVe is a program through which the Mata Amritanandamayi Math (MAM) has selected 101 villages throughout India with the goal of helping them become self-reliant role-model villages for the country. The focus area Agriculture, health, water and sanitation, Education, Income generation, Eco- friendly Infrastructure, Self Empowerment.Nature of Job• To empower villagers to live in communities that are prosperous and self-reliant • To make farmers cooperative society in different states and through society empowering farmers .• Preparing projects based on seven focused areas such as Health, Water & Sanitation, Education, Agriculture, Income Generation, Eco-Friendly Infrastructure & Self-Empowerment. • Formation of Self Reliance Group[SRG]. • Formation of Self Help Groups [SHG] • Enhance Agriculture • Meet government official and help villagers to know about the schemes available. • Conduct various students’ camp. • Coordinating various departments for successfully implementation of projects. • Mainly working on Tribal projects • Recently working on Tribal project where the Institute teaches how to make furniture out of Lantana Plant-Central Government project. It saves the forest and an income generation activity for villagers. • Starts new tuition centers where every necessary. • Organizing regular health camps for villagers. • Finding new income generation activities for villagers • Give training to fellows and coordinators from different states. • Visiting different villages and give different instruction to the fellow and coordinators on project implementation. • Conducting awareness program. • Preparing program to solve water scarcity with the help of various department. • Making farmers group for Promoting Organic farming. • Conducting skill development programs. • Conducting Digital Survey of village. • Conducting ITC program Show less
