Activities and Societies: During my MSc at UCL under Prof. Edirisinghe, I developed saliva-loaded core-sheath nanofibers using pressurized gyration, achieving >80% bacterial inhibition and 90% fibroblast proliferation. This biomimetic system was inspired by traditional wound healing and is published in Macromol. Mater. Eng. (https://doi.org/10.1002/mame.202400403). I also co-led a project enhancing the Omnipod Dash pump, presented at BioMedEng 2024. Indira Gandhi National Open University

Activities and Societies: Research project on pyrethroid resistance in mosquitoes under the guidance of Prof/Dr. Neera Kapoor. Worked on a study under Prof Neera Kapoor that investigated the resistance of Aedes aegypti mosquitoes in Delhi, India, to pyrethroid insecticides. I utilized Polymerase Chain Reaction Restriction Fragment Length Polymorphism (PCR RFLP) assays and allele-specific PCR for genotyping the knockdown resistance (kdr) mutations in the Aedes aegypti mosquito population. I also helped performDNA sequencing to validate the PCR based genotyping results to identify any novel mutations.
