  As an Area HR Manager at Bershka Ukraine (15 stores), was responsible for:- To make sure the policies and procedures of the HR Policy Manual, Handbook and Health & Safety policies are implemented and advice given as required- To advise store managers and employees on ER matters and for handling investigations, disciplinary meetings, grievances and appeals there where cases are more complex ensuring that all decisions are fair, legal and consistent - To support the Brand Manager in the management and development of the stores' management teams by: working on succession planning to guarantee management vacancies are covered, evaluating and promoting the right management profile, planning and follow up on training programs for new starters or internal promotions, and by developing training programs to build and strengthen managers capabilities by helping managers to identify MDPs and following up on their training plans, coach managers when carrying out Face to Faces to evaluate their teams and by working close with the managers to promote the motivation within the store - To ensure that all new stores open with the correct staffing profile - To assist in the production of staffing budgets on an annual basis and manage personnel cost- To work closely with the Regional Team and have a good understanding of relevant store operations and procedures to drive stores performance - To ensure exit interviews and post hire surveys information is followed up, and the relevant feedback acted upon and circulated appropriately to drive teams retention and minimize employee turnover- To ensure salary bandings are applied fairly and consistently through the region - To work closely with the HR Director to ensure consistency in policy and practice between regions- To undertake projects as and when required to further improve HR processes, policies and services Show less
