As a Regional Operations Manager I was responsible for the daily operations of five service units encompassing Central, Eastern, Northern Virginia, and Northern North Carolina. Responsibilities included HAZMAT and NFPA compliance and personnel training, OSHA EAP enforcement and training, Plant management, routing/planning/scheduling, budgeting/operating report in comparison to prior year metrics, full life cycle recruiting and training. Additionally, Fleet management with emphasis on DOT state and federal regulatory compliance. Drove operational efficiency and performance in distribution/delivery, customer and technical service through asset utilization, inventory control, and employee performance against KPIs.
