      Responsible for the strategic development of and delivery of a £3 million, three week long public festival which celebrated and raised awareness of the value of design and architecture simultaneously in Scotland’s six cities.My role involved forming a national programme of exhibitions, events, lectures, tours, screenings, symposia, workshops, publications and public interventions using pioneering models to engage with a variety of audiences. In my role as Studio Tutor I taught an urban studio with a cohort of two, closely linked postgraduate programmes: MSc in the City and the MSc in Architecture and Urban Design. These programmes were taught out of the School of Arts, Culture and Environment in conjunction with the School of GeoSciences.       At Woodguards I collaborate in the design and manufacture of products for the cycling accessories industry. Woodguards are wooden mudguards for bicycles made using reclaimed timber and brightly coloured formica. Each pair are handmade in Edinburgh, employing the modern craft skills of furniture designer Simon Muir. Woodguards reflects our interest in product design and bicycle culture particularly where it connects with urban life.

      Scotland Can Make It! was an independent project to create a series of six souvenirs inspired by the London 2012 Olympic Games and the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.Scotland Can Make It! presented an exciting public programme that was open to all.
