      Contract No 1 – University of Southampton, Bus Interchange• The contract is a new Transport Interchange for the University of Southampton, with a value of £1.7m. The contract included new access roads, high spec Cafe and timber bus canopy, upgrade of existing main carriageway, two car parks and all associated paving areas.• I was brought in at an early stage to help push and coordinate the design and development of the contract prior to the start date and then continue with the design push during the works whilst managing and supervising the contract. Holding regular meetings with the client and the University staff.Contract No 2 – Faculty of Law, St Cross Building, Oxford University• The contract is a Design and Build contract to construct a new Harvard style Lecture Theatre and general refurbishment of the existing Statistics cube into a workable and open area for the Law Faculty with a value of £1.6m. The Building is a 1960’s listed building. Additional works were added as the project proceeded, including upgrades of existing Lecture theatres and a replacement copper roof above the Law Library.• My position was to manage the Project and push the novated design team to ensure the programme was maintained and the works controlled.       I was initially employed by Leadbitter to undertake planning / programming works at the Thomas Hardye Leisure Centre in Dorchester. I was then transferred across to 3 other contracts to undertake a similar role including a care home in Bournemouth, High spec flats on Sandbanks and a church / apartments in Basingstoke.Following holiday relief work, I took over from 2 other Site Managers at the Leisure Centre in Dorchester to help bring the contract to completion – primarily on the internal finishes to all areas, especially the pool zone. The THLC handover ceremony had the building opened by Prince Charles.I was then moved across to assist in pushing the Care home towards completion where I coordinated the site personnel and operations.       This contract is a £1.5m Design and Build contract for a Commercial development within a new Student Accommodation building for the University of Southampton on a very busy and restricted junction in Southampton. The development is split between a Gym for the University and a Coop Prime utilised my services as a Planner within the Pre-Construction Department based at Fareham.Primary duties were development of the logistics, programming and design for various contracts, including Battersea Power Station, Brighton College Tower, Arts University Bournemouth and Hydrotherapy Pools.
