  Worked as a Mixologist in a Tiki-themed cocktail bar ‘Kanaloa’ creating various well-crafted tiki cocktails. Major duties included making tiki-themed cocktails such as Zombie, Rum Runner, and Pina Colada, handling the bookings, ordering stock since the bar was an independent entity and required its own separate orderings, prepping all the cocktails ingredients such as house-made syrups, infused liquors, fire breathing equipment, fruits, and fresh garnishes. The job also included making sure that fire breathing equipment and dry ice were handled carefully complying with the health and safety regulations. Show less Took a part-time job during my university years. I started my hospitality journey as a Bar Back eventually leading to the role of a Bartender. Working on this role introduced me to the world of mixology and hospitality. As a Bar Back, my duties included clearing and washing glassware, keeping the bar always stocked, assisting the bartenders, and organizing the delivered stock. The role of Bar Back eventually led to the role of a Bartender after a series of training. My new role changed to mainly serving the guests behind the bar with having my own cocktail station. This is mainly when my passion and curiosity for the hospitality industry grew immensely. I started doing research about the spirits, wines, cocktails, industry structure, and history of mixology, and eventually, this job grew as a passion within me and my admiration for the hospitality industry grew ever since.
