We were using several biochemical approaches that were able to report the presence of regulatory RNAs like small RNAs in the avian spermatozoa. This was the first time report in establishing an avian based potential biomarker system that could impart a trans-generational effect.

    • Indian Veterinary Research Institute

      Jul 2013 - Jun 2014
      Research Assistant

We could establish both in-vivo and in-vitro experiments to discern the effect of Bisphenol-A, an estrogenic endocrine disruptors' role in compromising chicken fertility with its reduced mitochondrial function and associated sperm motility.

    • BRIC-RAJIV GANDHI CENTRE FOR BIOTECHNOLOGY

      Jun 2014 - Mar 2020

My research extends epigenomic approaches to improve the understanding of complexity associated with Intracranial Aneurysmal phenotypes. This was employed by targeted and untargeted assessment of metabolites from patient plasma samples using high resolution Mass Spectometry. Along with this we generate a gene-environment risk score (GERS) prediction as a prognosis marker for aneurysm detection.During this time, I also contributed and worked with my colleagues in other variants of cerebrovascular diseases like moya moya disease.
