  My role was focused on facilitating the Nursing Service Department in ensuring full compliance and commitment to the accreditation standards of the Saudi Central Board for Accreditation of Healthcare Institution (CBAHI) 3rd Edition- Nursing Care (NR) Chapter. As a facilitator, my responsibility was to coordinate all Quality Improvement initiatives and programs to the Nursing Service Department, thus, ensuring that quality standards are adhered to in order to minimize risk and provide safe care to all patients of Care National Hospital. As a result, I have contributed as a key player together with the entire Nursing Service Department and the Quality Improvement Team in attaining an ESR score of 98.5% and an overall accreditation rating of 95.0%. Show less As a facilitator of this Chapter, my primary role was to coordinate all Quality Improvement initiatives and programs related to the management of information (MOI) as well as in ensuring compliance to the CBAHI Medical Record (MR) standards in clinical documentation. In line with these tasks, I led a multidisciplinary team of medical records review auditors in conducting systematic and concurrent review of clinical documentation (i.e. Open and Closed Medical Records Review) using a structured and robust medical records review tool. In addition, I have worked with multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals in reviewing and updating policies and procedures of the Health Information Management to ensure appropriate management of medical records which is fundamentally considered as the backbone of the hospital and encompasses essential elements in quality improvement.
