      As part of the Canterbury Land Settlement project I assisted with the design and implementation of settlement processes and toolsets for two complex types of land damage caused by the Canterbury earthquake sequence. Increased flooding and increased liquefaction vulnerability damage, the first insurance settlement globally of it's kind. This programme was extremely rewarding to be a part of and allowed me to further refine my skills in process development and design, system development, reporting development, workforce planning, Agile and Lean methodologies, as well as core skills in data analysis, requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement and change management.       As Manager, Business Integration I oversee a leadership group managing a range of diverse business enablement products and functions including technical system ownership and administration, programme management, process development, continuous improvement, and change management.In this diverse role I provided a focus on planning and governance, ensuring all functions perform, and continue to improve on the efficiency of their outputs. The success of this team requires engagement with all parts of the organisation both supporting and delivering change. I provide and facilitate coaching and mentoring for staff to expand their range of skills in order to provide flexible resources to support prioritised business needs.In this role I also acted as Strategic Advisor to my business unit, supporting my Executive Leader with business engagement, budget planning, governance maturity, and roadmap development. In 2022, this team expanded to include further business support and regulatory functions, which further expanded my need to manage diverse functions and skill sets.In 2023, I undertook the role of Programme Manager on a legislative change programme to implement the Natural Hazards Commission Act. This legislation comes into force on 1 July 2024. Show less As Product Owner and subsequently Product Manager I oversaw the maintenance and enhancement programme of EQC’s claim management system stack and completed a successful upgrade of the Guidewire ClaimCenter application from an on-premise to Cloud based system, being the first in the APAC region to complete the upgrade. Success of this project included low user impact managed by thorough change management practices and minimal defects carried through to production. I implemented governance frameworks and supported an engaged governance forum in order to provide the best value and efficiency of the claims management functions primary system. This role demanded strong commercial relationship management and vendor performance oversight. Alongside the upgrade of the claims management system I participated as a voting panel member in a RFP process to select a new support partner for the SaaS system. Show less
