Additional responsibilities involved annual budget proficiency and the utilization of excellent communication skills in representing the agency privately and publicly. A full schedule of on-call availability beyond a typical work week with approximately 70 hours weekly. This position required knowledge of federal, state and local laws governing equal employment opportunity and civil rights, occupational safety and health, human resource issues, and unionized labor relations/negotiations.
