You see, we've partnered with vendors that are located near over 500 universities nationwide which provide their services at a reduced cost to those who need it most: the often cash-strapped student. We then compiled these savings into a coupon book, mobile app, and website that serves millions of college students each year. The best part is it's a completely free for students and contains vendors they use most. Amazingly, Campus Special provides these students an average of $2,500 in savings per year.As an account executive, it was my job to call on local businesses in the Boston area (brand new market) and sell an array of marketing opportunities that the Campus Special offers to students in Boston. For this internship, I flew to Atlanta, GA for a three day account management and sales training program with the company. Over the summer, my partner and I successfully created a presence for Campus Special in Boston and sold $24,005 of revenue for print, mobile and online advertising space. Show less
