  Promoted within her third year of teaching, Megha became the Assistant Lead of History, responsible for:- Retention of students into study of Key Stage 5 History. During her time in this role, this increased by over 100%.- Responsible for the planning and development of a Key Stage 3 mixed Humanities curriculum for students with low literacy skills. - Responsible for planning a WW1 100 year anniversary trip to Ypres in Belgium for c.40 students.- Led on and assisted with the planning of KS3, KS4 and KS5 lessons and involved with moderation of student work across these stages. Show less From June 2011 – July 2013, Megha was a participant on the highly competitive Teach First Leadership Development Programme which brings graduates into classrooms in order to address educational disadvantage. Megha taught Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 History to Secondary School pupils for which she was graded as Outstanding.The charity Teach First is a powerful movement founded to directly address the problem of educational disadvantage.
