  Initially joined Hill Hire PLC as a Customer Account Representive (CAR) which over the several years of services turned into a multi-role position as a CAR and a Workshop Controller.As an CAR I was responsible for a fair number of large fleet clients (i.e St.Regis/D S Smith; CEVA Newsfast; Quattro Plant...) wherby I had to deal with there day-to-day hire requirements; notifications of damage and arrangement of settlement; invoice billing for rental and recharges; information and notifications of Services and MOT's due, booking of MOT's and arranging replacement vehicles if necessary. Dealing with breakdowns and vehicle defects reported by customers. Give a daily report to Rental Office Manager and General Manager. While carrying out my role as a CAR I would primarily report to the Worshop Manager; create and update service schedules and send customer notifications of service/MOTs/Tachograph Calibrations/LOLER/T/Lift Weight Test etc... Order Part from Manufacturers and checking agreed tarriff prices; Re-ordering Impress Stock for both Trucks & Trailers. Dealing with Customer Breakdowns passed by other Customer Account Representatives. With a colleague, booking in all Service/MOT's etc on to the Hill Hire System to allocate time to the 6 day and 4 night workshop technicians to carry out scheduled work and defects. Assist the Workshop Manager on providing our workshop productivity and meeting KPI's to present to the General Manager and Operations Director on a weekly basis. Show less
