I commonly treated gastro-intestinal disorders, inflammatory conditions, autoimmune disorders, hormonal imbalances, allergies, acute infections, depression and anxiety. I performed venipuncture for private lab tests such as IgG food sensitivities, and would regularly assess conventional lab results. The modalities that I used most frequently included acupuncture and Chinese herbs, western botanical medicine, homeopathy, Bowen Therapy, counseling, diet and lifestyle modifications, and nutraceutical supplementation. I gained valuable experience treating patients that were taking many pharmaceuticals and had very complicated medical histories. Many of my treatments plans focused on providing pain management, counseling and improving overall quality of life.

I was also responsible for preparing, administering and grading examinations.In addition to teaching the students pharmacological principles and the use of pharmaceuticals, I enjoyed advising and mentoring them on aspects like building a practice and studying for examinations.I instructed the pharmacology program at CITCM for 3 years and no longer teach there only because I moved from Calgary to British Columbia.
