  As the deployed Wing Flight Safety Officer I was charged with all aspects of Flight safety at the wing. I oversaw construction on the airfield in respect to to its impacts to safety of flight, bird and wildlife hazards on the airfield, and diplomatic coordination with the host nation when safety incidents involved both a US aircraft and a host nation aircraft. I accomplished 54 safety investigations involving numerous aircraft and countries and reduced bird strike hazards by 50%. I briefed every in no aircrew on the hazards to flight and local reporting procedures if a safety incident occurred. I advised Wing leadership on all Flight Safety matters and recommended courses of action that improved runway incursions and controlled movement area violations from 5 per year to zero! Show less

  Senior Software Engineer

  I worked mainly on two projects for L3Harris. The first was as a dedicated senior software engineer to NORAD helping to develop a visual simulation for homeland defense. The other was software that tracks space objects around Earth. I mostly worked with .NET technologies including migrating from .NET framework to .NET 5.0. We used the Atlassian suite to manage our program and practiced Agile Software development practices. My duties included everything from building tests, designing UI elements, and creating new functionality on the backend of the software. These projects touched on technologies including C#, JS, VB, AGI's Systems Toolkit (STK), SQL Server, Angular and Blazor. Show less
