Erythropoietin is a drug, primarily used in cancer patients, which boosts red blood cell count when administered. To complete this project I employed both quantitative and qualitative techniques to research production methods for the drug. The project ultimately required liaison with suppliers to gain pricing estimates equipment. Working within a team and individually, a successful proposal for the production facility was presented, including a design for an energy efficient medical water production system built alongside.
