  I worked as a Network Operations Engineer at MCIWORLDCOM. The contract I worked on was the Federal Avaition Administration contract. We, as a team, worked to manage dedicated uptime to air traffic control towers across the country. My job was to ensure dedicated flow of traffic using T-1 data links. If there was a problem my job was to re-route traffic and open a ticket to have the issue fixed.This job required Federal Security Clearance. This job required me to locate fiberoptic lines using software and alert field engineers if danger was present. I became lead location within the first 8 months, and remained the lead all the way until I left the group for another job within the organization.
