  As a student support liaison for PVA, I supervise a team of teaching assistants as we support and monitor our students in the virtual academy. Responsibilities include monitoring students' weekly progress, communicating with students and parents regarding progress, and supporting students in all aspects of their virtual education. I work in partnership with the School District of Philadelphia's administration to ensure that this new venture gets successfully implemented. I was also responsible for facilitating the 6th grade curriculum to our cyber students, communicating with them and their parents weekly, and ensuring that each child was progressing through their courses of study.
