  Conducted extensive research and analysis into isolating root causes, causal factors, and contributing factors in previous ACV mishaps, assembled a team of subject-matter-experts from across multiple units, and developed a consequential outcomes-based training, evaluation, and certification program designed to correct training deficiencies in the Assault Amphibian Community. The success of this program has become the foundation for training, readiness, and safety across the Assault Amphibian Community, reduced the mishap rate to zero, and is the key to the Marine Corps' leveraging the advanced capabilities inherent to this new vehicle.
