  The Equipment Coordinator will be responsible for fully managing the company’s equipment inventory and budget. This will include preparing adequate sets of equipment for all classes being offered and distributing (or coordinating distribution) to the appropriate location and/or staff member. This position will be responsible for maintaining all equipment – ensuring that all equipment and supplies being used are in compliance with American Red Cross standards and in working order. Equipment will be housed at the Y in Pasadena, in the designated warehouse space. This space will also serve as the Equipment Coordinator’s office and headquarters. Instructors and Instructor Trainers are to communicate equipment needs to the Equipment Coordinator, of whom will fulfill reasonable requests being made. In addition to maintaining the warehouse and the equipment within, this position will also be required to oversee the maintenance of and stock within the company vehicle fleet (e.g., keeping it stocked with equipment, materials and supplies and also scheduling routine maintenance on the vehicle). When not performing the duties above, this position will be expected to meet staffing needs by teaching American Red Cross Aquatic, Land-Based and Instructor training classes, as assigned. Show less
