      I worked on a number of research projects with statutory and not-for-profit organisations, including the Electoral Commission, Crisis and the Education Foundation of Australia. I organised five high-profile events for the Electoral Commission analysing the 2004 European Parliamentary elections. Participants included Nick Clegg MEP, Professor John Curtice of Strathclyde University, Mark Damazer (BBC) and Brian Taylor, Political Editor (BBC Scotland).

I worked with a team of twelve policy professionals leading the team to influence the 2019 NHS Long-Term Plan and the commitment by NHS England and the Department of Health and Social Care to a 2021 commitment for personalised cancer care for all people diagnosed with cancer.

      I use stories and narrative tools to help coaching clients cope with life transitions, and to derive meaning from challenging life events. Open about my own experiences of living ill health, I am the Centre for Mental Health´s Writer-In-Residence from May 2023. I have completed a CPD-accredited Introduction to Therapeutic and Reflective Writing with Professional Writing Academy https://www.profwritingacademy.com/course/therapeutic-and-reflective-writing My tutors were Anne Taylor and Victoria Field.I lead London Lit Lab´s Queer Storytelling course and in 2021 and 2023 I have facilitated Out on the Page´s workshops for LGBTQ writers on memoir, exploring their stories, and writing & wellbeing. I was shortlisted in 2022 for The Literary Consultancy's Pen Factor award. In addition, I was a winner of the 2021 Spread the Word and Scribe UK competition for works of narrative non-fiction and in 2020 I was a winner of The Literary Consultancy’s LGBT+ Free Reads competition. A freelance journalist, my articles on queer life, culture, travel and health have been published by HuffPost UK, Culture Trip, Jewish News and Jewish Renaissance.My course on creative and life writing for queer and LGBTQ individuals with London Lit Lab will likely be repeated in autumn 2023 https://www.londonlitlab.co.uk/course/queer-storytelling/ I plan to run other writing workshops in 2023 on writing with vulnerability, writing our health stories and other themes and topics.
