      Team Leader

Whilst on Furlough during the third national lockdown I was approached to be the Team Leader at the Asymptomatic Covid Testing Centre in Oxford City. The aim of this project was to test front line workers during the pandemic on a regular basis to catch anyone who was potentially carrying Covid and not showing symptoms to ensure that they were not spreading the virus without realising it. I was an instrumental part of the initial set up of the centre establishing systems of work, customer journeys, recruiting and training staff, and establishing community contacts to help ensure that the community was getting regularly tested. Working alongside Oxford City Council, Public Health, and the Fire and Rescue Service we set up the most efficient Asymptomatic testing centre in Oxfordshire and I was used as the practical expert in setting up the newest site set to open in West Oxfordshire on the 29th of March.
