Show less The Institute for Logistics and Production Engineering (BAY-LOGI) is the leading applied research organisation in North-Hungary.The mission of BAY-LOGI is to promote R&D in Hungary and to conduct related applied research and development activities, mainly to support the innovative activities of the enterprises in this region.As a result of the deliberate development matching to market demands there have been significant changes in the activities BAY-LOGI since its foundation. In the beginning the main research areas were logistics, production engineering, informatics and recycling. Since then several new fields of research have been started and strengthened within BAY-LOGI like structural integrity (safe operation of structures), environmental management, mechatronics, moreover new departments were founded, like energetic, material development and nanotechnology, in the last few years.   I was responsible to build up business development at MOME University for Art and Design Budapest. I have managed company contacts and about 50 business projects per year in the fields of arts and design. Projects size 1K-1M EUR. FTEs in the unit: 6. During that time I was also responsible for the Technology Transfer Office of the university. The TTO was financed by the Hungarian Innovation Fund, through the University Innovation Ecosystem program. The TTO was responsible to develop the innovation services of the university towards the market, as well as start-up incubation.
