      M.S. Ecology

Independent research focused on invasive ecology, particularly regarding the effects of invasive plants on abiotic characteristics and invertebrate communities. Specifically, research was conducted to determine differences in epiphytic macroinvertebrate communities between a native (Nymphaea odorata) and invasive (Trapa natans) macrophyte in local water bodies.
