      Quality Control Leader

      Responsible for inspection departments of three manufacturing buildings. Inspections included layout, CMM, NDT (FPI, XRay), as well as interfacing with customer source inspection and DCMA QAR. I designed an implemented a visual system for management inspection backlogs, allowing manufacturing operations to accurately prioritize and forecast product flow through the inspection areas.

      Responsible for leading a high performing team of quality professionals in efforts to improve all aspects of operational excellence in quality. Sole owner of the quality management system, including the design and implementation of plans for reduction in COPQ, MRB inventory, adherence to customer requirements, and a data driven approach to continuous improvement As the leader of the quality assurance team, I was responsible for all customer facing quality activities, including audits, investigations, executive reporting, and management of relationships. I supervised the adherence to the quality management system requirements, leading the site through AS9100 recertification audits, DCMA process assessments, and FAA part 21 audits. In this position I led all quality control functions of the site, including multiple inspection departments. My responsibilities included coordination with the operations team, workflow management, visual queue management, introducing new inspection tools and techniques, using continuous improvement tools to reduce backlog and lead times, as well as leading defect identification and reduction efforts.
