      I was an academic teacher in descriptive (basic and socio-economic) statistic, mathematical statistic and statistical inference, and demography to undergraduate courses (50% of time). I was also engaged in research into mortality differentials and determinants in Poland and writing the PHD dissertation on this subject (50% time).

      I acted as an expert researcher for the Investiagtive Judges of the ECCC, by conducting studies into victimization of Khmer Rouge regime in Cambodia, 1970-1975, My objective was to evaluate the relative accuracy and methodological strengths and shortcomings of the estimates of Cambodia deaths in April 1975 to January 1979 and of their cause-of-death distribution. I also identified challenges to estimating the death toll in Cambodia in 1975-79, to pin down the most likely estimates, and to discuss measures that could further improve the accuracy of the existing estimates.
