  My role was primarily tasked with reviving a struggling team. I was tasked with, re-energising, and re-focusing the team. This was delivered and in turn this created a good foundation to build the teams knowledge and skills. I was also involved with the procurement team tasked with researching, evaluating tenders for the supply and installation of a new car park operating system. This was delivered on time and within budget. A considerable amount of my work at the council was spent liaising with portfolio holders and senior leaders, ensuring they were fully appraised do the current management and operational situations within the parking service. I was the primary contact for all contractors and would ensure I built up a good working relationship with them this was the basis of creating good future working relationships. Show less
