  During my time at OrthomedPhysio, I was responsible for the front desk of the clinic and interacting with Patients. Through this experience, I learnt the importance of customer relations and how to be proactive to ensure patients had a good experience. I organised clinic appointments, took payments and kept confidential patient records using the medical allied software “Clinko”. Additionally I scribed letters using Microsoft Word to other medical professionals as well as patients which were sent using Microsoft Outlook. I developed a strong sense of independence as I was the only reception on duty and had to ensure problems were dealt with in a efficient manner without disturbing the physiotherapists. Show less

  As my role of Club Captain of the Exeter University Touch Rugby Club, I regularly oversee a 12 person committee to hold training sessions, tournaments and social, welfare, and fundraising events for over 250 members. I continuously liaise with external bodies and the University of Exeter’s Athletic Union to hold events and provide our members with the best experience possible. Throughout my term as club captain, I’ve developed flexibility in my leadership style to best suit each committee member, organisational skills to ensure all deadlines and goals are met and how to streamline communications to ensure committee members are only contacted when necessary to encourage quick and thoughtful replies. Show less As my role of Club Director of the Exeter University Touch Rugby Club, I worked with two other coaches and an eleven person committee to organise triweekly informative and engaging training sessions. Sessions were held both in person and online for 150 club members all of different abilities. In a year of Covid-19 restrictions, I worked closely with the University of Exeter’s Athletic Union to ensure all sessions followed all government and university social distancing guidelines and developed skills such as problem solving and becoming adaptable to react to different restrictions throughout the year.   Over the summer between my second and third year of my undergraduate degree, I worked as a receptionist and waitress at the Oriental Club in London. My responsibilities included greeting and attending to club members, answering enquiries, making reservations, designing event publicity materials, serving food and drinks, and taking payments. Through my time at the club, I improved upon my collaboration skills as I was constantly working with a team to provide excellent service to members.
