Daily activities include liaison with project teams and grant holders; providing advice and guidance to mitigate and resolve challenges within an award's lifecycle; and working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that research projects deliver with the expected budgets and time.Am also a Mental Health First Aider for the University of Southampton's School for Enterprise and Innovation. Oversaw the efficient delivery of work undertaken by 11 research teams on behalf of the DHSC, for NICE and other policy makers. Monitored the governance, quality assurance and finance of this contract and ensured the £12m budget matched our forecast. Was also responsible for the contract management of Cochrane UK and the 20 NIHR-funded Cochrane Review Groups. This included arranging and facilitating contract review meetings, monitoring progress against agreed deliverables, and being the finance lead for the Programme’s budget.
