  • Worked as a system engineer (Tier 4) in video operations team and performing day to day system administrator activities, troubleshooting and storage assignments.• Worked on centos 7 production environment for various system tasks such as creating lvm spaces, log rotation, log gathering and uploading to ftp servers, creating new servers etc.• Work as a tier 4 support for active video maintenance and outages in 19 markets.• Must be on call after every 7 weeks to support the outages escalated to our team.• Maintained the server security by applying new tools to the system such as Vault, sysdig.• Maintaining and up running the vault so it can be used by the company to store passwords safely and can be used by various tools also such as mind control and various go lan programs used in our production environment.• Security auditing for the passwords publically available and safely encrypted them .• Apply patches and updates on the OS versions used in production to keep the system up to date.• Maintain the working of all the components which support the active video in spectrum including stitchers, ts_broadcaster, set top boxes, AMS tomcat servers, csm etc.• Write scripts in python or bash for the automating the easy and fast work flow in the production and testing environment.
