  Vibroacoustic Simulation Engineer

  My main mission was to work on vibro-acoustic simulations, perform finite element models, run calculations and carry out a critical analysis of the results. In summary, these were the main tasks that I performed:1. Creation of FE models with HyperWorks software package.2. Modal analysis calculations, transfer functions (FRFs), ERP (Equivalent Radiated Power) and modal participation.3. Preparation and calculation of aeroacoustic simulations using HyperWorks + VAOne.4. Conducting vibroacoustic tests in several Metro projects.5. Correlation between the results obtained in (1. & 2.) with the ones measured in 4.6. 3D printing jobs mixed with the world of acoustics, based on a tramway motor.i.   NVH Testing Engineer in NISSAN

  I worked in the NVH & Wind Noise Planning & Testing Department of Nissan in Barcelona (as a contractor through the company Applus Idiada) in the projects:i. Nissan Navara / Mercedes X-Class / Renault Alaskanii. Nissan Micra, Qashqai, Leaf, NV200 and Juke,iii. Renault Duster, Nissan Pulsar and the Infiniti QX30 and QX50 models.My main duties during this time were:1. To lead NVH trials, analyze measurement results, and prepare reports for reporting. We carried out 3 types of tests: --> Dynamic tests on the test track. --> Static tests: Hammering tests (VTFs, NTFs, IPIs), steering noises, ... --> Semi-anechoic chamber tests.2. To analyze, test and judge cost reduction ideas proposed by design departments that could impact the NVH performance of the vehicle.3. To carry out NVH tests for the development of the projects named above (Regulations E6d temp & E6d Full mainly).4. Definition of the NVH targets for each project (interior noise, insulation, Pass-by noise, exhaust noise, rolling noise, wind noise, ...) and the VPT (Vehicle Positioning Target).5. To carry out subjective noise evaluations in order to, together with the results obtained during the tests, make decisions to improve the NVH performance of the vehicles. Show less
