      Activities and Societies: A member of the student led committee, that planned and ran the university's Occupational Therapy Conference 2015, main role was the sourcing of sponsorship and provision of food for the conference. As a student on the full time extended Occupational Therapy cohort, I have undertaken three practice placements; The 1st was in outpatients hand therapy, which included the observation of surgical (plastics) procedures, treatment of traumatic injury and progressive symptoms from long term conditions to the hand and forearm,(level 4). The 2nd is a private community neurological rehabilitation setting, which has included working with GAS goals, FIM+FAM, as well as adapting the Multiple Errand Test for the local environment, the client group include people with complex physical, behavioural, emotional and processing difficulties (level 5).The 3rd was on a private medium secure mental health unit, working with older males under treatment orders for their mental health conditions.       Detachment Commander and Medical Support Officer within a military youth organisation, providing challenging and adventurous activities for teenagers aged between 12 and 18 years of age.Responsible for: Arranging imaginative and stimulating training in both military and non-military subjects. The discipline and the efficient administration of the Detachment, and for the weapons, ammunition, equipment and stores on charge. The development of the adult and cadet instructors so ensuring that they contribute positively to the success of the Detachment. Ensure cadets have every opportunity to participate in non-APC activities such as sport, the DofE Award and Vocational Award Schemes and visits to the Army, and to be conversant with the DofE and Vocational award Schemes so as to be able to advise cadets accordingly.
