  As part of the front desk staff, I organized gear and supplies needed to successfully bring students on outdoor trips. As a trip leader, I was responsible for creating itineraries for day and weekend long trips to be distributed to students before the trip commenced. I purchased food for the students and trip leaders following a budget to ensure proper spending of the programs funding. In the field, I used leadership skills to safely guide students through the wilderness.

  Geographic Information System Intern

  Through my internship with the City of Greeley, I had the opportunity to work on a digitizing project converting land abstracts into polygons for an accesible map layer. I organized an attribute table and was responsible for collecting data from the abstracts and converting the locations into polygons. After the digitization of nearly 300 abstracts, I got to observe the process of uploading the layer to the citys database. Near the end of the internship I had the pleasure of presenting the project to the city's IT Department, where I strengthened public speaking and communication skills. Show less
